Collectable items can be new, used, old, classic or unusual. What
makes the item collectable is a combination of item desirability, scarcity and condition.
For example, a Sportsman design Wizard 600 putter may be worth a few hundred dollars
but add the George Low logo and the fact that Jack Nicklaus used it to win several US
Opens and it's worth a few thousand. The difference is that the latter has become scarce as
collectors have found and kept them. There's not much difference from a useability
point of view.
Since golf equipment is so collectable a number of limited editions are
continually being made by name designers like Scotty Cameron. Like any collectable, a
buyer must exercise care in making sure an item is authentic. The bottom line to any
collectable is finding someone who wants the item and is willing to pay a premium for it.

used club section with the item ID beginning with the letter 'C'. In the future such
items will be categorized separately.)
